Conferência “A Máscara na Commedia dell'Arte” By Renzo Antonello

How does an artist become a builder of masks for thr theatre? What are the method of work and his sources of inspiration? What arts should dominate and what are the rules which should be obeyed in order to create masks that can have lofe on the stage? What are the differences between the various types of masks used in the theatre, from Greco-Latin Classical antiquity to the Commedia dell'Arte? What differentiates a Larval mask from an Expressive mask? What is a Neutral mask? All of these questions are the subject of the conference by Renzo antonello, which is illustrated by slides snd followed by a public question-answer period.
