Ramiro Ramirez, an old man with rigid and unchangeable routines, goes out for a walk – as he has been doing for the last five years – and sits on his favourite bench on the square opposite to his house – the bench on the left.
Today, however, his bench is already taken by Enzo Carbonara, a joyful street kid who lives his life without any sort of boundaries or rules. Although this may seem insignificant for others, this fact triggered feelings of rage, revenge, and vulnerability in Ramirez.
The Compañia eLe | Marta Lorente and Raquel Batet founded the Compañia eLe in Barcelona in 2014. They explore different forms of expression through puppets.

After sinking his boat, Captain Trujillo wakes up on a desert island… or not really a desert island. He will find out there is a hidden treasure on the island. How will he find it? Who will help him? Which dangers will he face? A story filled with action, fun, and tenderness that shall enchant both children and adults.

Alex Mihajlovski, the virtuoso puppet master, provides the perfect symbiosis between the puppet and its puppeteer, allowing the spectator to cross the border between reality and fiction. String manipulation is made with great agility, transforming the master’s creativity into the puppet’s expressiveness.
