IDENTITATS ROCAMORA TEATRO
A faceless naked puppet is born and dies on stage. During its short existence, this puppet puts on different masks that will stress its way of doing and being. A 90cm tall puppet with 27 strings manipulated by Carles Cañellas, plays the various characters by the masks it wears.
IDENTITATS is not only a theatrical metaphor of the actor before the roles he plays throughout his career, but also to life itself.
Celebrating his 40 years in puppetry, the puppeteer Carles Cañellas puts on a show for teenagers and adults in which he combines the purity of string puppets with an utmost demanding manipulation. He explores the puppets’ amazing dramatic skills under different modern choreographies, with tailor-made electronic music and videoart projections.
