Le Petit Cirque it’s a complex sonorous object, made of wood, plastic, wires, energy and fragility. A blow can put it in vibration. Twelve small microphones extract multiples resources from the track of the Petit Cirque. It’s a circus, the manipulation is risky, and the danger of the fall is always present. It’s a sonorous circus in the same way as the theatre can be musical. It is also object theatre, between performance and sonorous research, a miniature concert that we listen in an intimate space.Le Petit Cirque was constructed from small objects, recovered and transformed, of devices of toys, not exempt of humour. Laurent Bigot places in scene surprising sonorous configurations with small objects and resonant utensils. In an area scarcely a metre in diameter, artistes and animals do their turns. The tightrope walker runs on a magnetic tape, the trapezist balances interference, the lion tamer makes mechanical animals sing, the eagle plays on a spider's thread, and the illusionist juggles with sounds as well as objects… An unforgettable acoustic and sensorial experience.Laurent Bigot, saxophonist and composer, participates in many diversified musical universes. He creates and performs musical realizations through the writing or improvisation, on scene, in studio, in urban environment, using electroacustic means, saxophones or other objects.
