ROTAS DE POLICHINELO Festival
Europe has a very interesting character: the lively, irreverent and popular Pulcinella, the Napolitan mask that spread from city to city over the centuries, and originated a whole family of closely linked siblings and relatives. In spite of being designed in different places and times, most Polichinelos kept their features and identity over the centuries. With this FESTIVAL ROTAS DE POLICHINELO, through a MAJOR EXHIBITION of puppets and SEVERAL SHOWS by both Portuguese and foreign companies staging their traditional repertoires, Museu da Marioneta brings to the public that large and almost forgoten European family and the story of these puppet shows.See more about exhibitionSee more about permormances
