Workshop O ACTOR FACE AO OBJECTO Agnès Limbos – Cie Gare Centrale - Belgium
Directed by: Agnès LimbosFor: Puppeteers, actors, directors, musicians, dancers and visual artists Number of participants: 12 Language: English, French and Spanish
The main characteristic of a laboratory is the experimentation: go beyond the limits of what we know and step into intuitively in dark areas which undermine the value and magnitude scales. Let’s share our journey, our knowledge and find ourselves. Through your imagination, curiosity, experience and knowledge and, by other hand, making exercises, individual or collective improvisations, we will explore together this special and unique form of theatre, where the object is manipulated in front-view, with the actor at the center of space. The discovery of some will also belong to the others. The object theatre is a theatre without wings, which uses the metaphor, symbolism, suggestion, using shortcuts on its route. The object theatre allows us to tell stories, change quickly the place, size, scale, visions and viewpoints. An author theatre. The time is planned daily, so each one can develop its own form in collaboration with other participants. The workshop is suitable for actors, puppeteers, visual artists, directors, musicians, dancers… young or less young. Let’s make a warehouse where all the stuff that you will bring will be used by all of us during the exercises, in individual or in group.
